After completing all background activities and watching the documentary "The Children's March", we will evaluate how people of color chose to act in opposition to the violence and discrimination of the era that we studied. Building on prior knowledge, we will turn our focus to another famous African American, Jackie Robinson, and we will discover how Robinson, King, and children involved in "The Children's March" all used character to overcome segregation and inequality.
